“SECRET OF THE SLAYING STATUES!” A small-time thug’s corpse is found weighted down by golden Batman statues in Gotham’s East River. Batman’s investigation leads him to Erin Hill, Gotham’s largest Irish settlement, which is in the midst of a carnival called St. Brigid’s. The Dark Knight also meets a man named Liam McCourt and finds a booth selling golden Batman statues similar to the ones found on the corpse’s body earlier. A man promises to take Batman to the one responsible for making the statues, but instead leads the Caped Crusader into a trap.
